Ninlib 150mg Capsule contains Nilotinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used in the treatment of Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) in the chronic and accelerated phases.
Ninlib 150mg Capsule is taken orally, usually twice a day on an empty stomach, at least 2 hours after and 1 hour before any food, exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It should be swallowed whole with water and not crushed, broken, or chewed. For patients unable to swallow capsules, the contents may be mixed in a teaspoon of apple puree and taken immediately. Treatment should be started and monitored by an oncologist experienced in treating CML, and your doctor will decide the dose based on your condition and prior treatment history.
Low blood cell counts, headache, nausea, and rash are among the most common effects of this medicine. Your doctor will advise regular blood tests and heart monitoring (ECG) during treatment, since this medicine can affect heart rhythm and blood sugar levels. Inform your doctor if you notice fever, unusual bruising or bleeding, yellowing of the skin or eyes, irregular heartbeat, or fainting.
