Dosage and Administration:

• 5 mg once weekly subcutaneously (abdomen, thigh, or upper arm, rotating sites) is the recommended dosage.

• If necessary, the dosage can be raised by 2.5 mg every 4 weeks, with a weekly maximum of 15 mg.
• It can be administered at any time of day, with or without food; if it is missed, take it within four days; if not, skip it and carry on with your usual routine.

You should inject this medication and insulin separately if you take both together. Don’t combine them. Avoid administering the shots directly close to one another. With every injection, rotate the injection sites.
