Description
Introduction Of Lastet 100mg Injection:
Lastet 100mg Injection contains Etoposide, a topoisomerase II inhibitor used in the treatment of testicular cancer, small cell lung cancer, and certain lymphomas and leukemias.
Lastet 100mg Injection is administered only by a trained oncologist as a slow intravenous infusion after dilution, usually given over 30 to 60 minutes to reduce the risk of low blood pressure. Your doctor will decide the dose and schedule based on your condition, body surface area, and whether it is combined with other chemotherapy drugs. It should never be self-administered.
Low blood cell counts, nausea, vomiting, and hair loss are among the most common effects of this medicine. Your doctor will advise regular blood tests to monitor your blood counts during treatment. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice fever, unusual bleeding or bruising, difficulty breathing, dizziness during the infusion, or signs of infection.

Mechanism Of Action Of Lastet 100mg Injection:
Lastet Injection contains Etoposide, a topoisomerase II inhibitor. It works by forming a complex with the enzyme topoisomerase II and DNA, causing breaks in the DNA strands of cancer cells. This prevents the cells from properly repairing and replicating their DNA, leading to cell death and helping control the growth of the cancer.
