Ipilimumab 50mg Injection is administered only by a trained healthcare professional as an intravenous infusion, usually over 90 minutes. Your doctor will decide the dose and schedule, often given once every 3 weeks for a set number of doses, based on your condition and treatment plan. It should never be self-administered.
Because this medicine works by activating the immune system, it can sometimes cause the immune system to attack healthy tissues as well. Diarrhea, skin rash, and fatigue are among the most common effects. Your doctor will monitor you closely for signs of inflammation in the intestines, liver, skin, or hormone glands.
