Description
Introduction Of Intaxel 260mg Injection:
Intaxel 260mg Injection is an anti-cancer medicine used in the treatment of ovarian cancer, breast cancer, non-small cell lung cancer, and AIDS-related Kaposi’s sarcoma.
Intaxel 260mg Injection is given as an intravenous infusion by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic, after proper dilution. It should not be self-administered. Before each infusion, you will be given pre-medication (such as steroids and antihistamines) to help prevent severe allergic reactions. Your doctor will decide the dose and treatment schedule based on your medical condition and body size. It may be given alone or with other cancer medicines. Attend all your scheduled appointments and do not stop the treatment unless your doctor tells you to.
Nausea, hair loss, and a drop in blood cell counts are among the most common effects of this medicine. Your doctor will advise regular blood tests to monitor your blood counts. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice fever, unusual bruising or bleeding, breathing difficulty, facial flushing during the infusion, or numbness and tingling in your hands or feet, as these may need urgent attention.

Benefits Of Intaxel 260mg Injection:
1. Ovarian cancer
Ovarian cancer occurs when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably in the ovaries. Intaxel 260mg Injection is used as first-line treatment along with cisplatin and as later-line treatment, helping slow the growth of cancer cells and control the disease.
2. Breast cancer
Breast cancer develops when cells in the breast tissue grow abnormally. Intaxel 260mg Injection is used after surgery in node-positive breast cancer, and also when the cancer has spread or has come back after earlier chemotherapy, helping reduce the risk of recurrence and control disease progression.
3. Non-small cell lung cancer
Non-small cell lung cancer is one of the major types of lung cancer. Intaxel 260mg Injection is used along with cisplatin in patients who cannot have surgery or radiation, helping slow the growth and spread of cancer cells.
