Fosaport 150mg Injection is a lyophilized powder that is prepared as a solution and given as an intravenous infusion by a doctor or nurse. It should not be self-administered. It is usually given as a single dose about 30 minutes before chemotherapy starts. Your doctor will decide the dose and schedule based on your chemotherapy regimen. It is used together with other anti-nausea medicines such as a steroid and a 5-HT3 blocker. Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, as this medicine can interact with several drugs, including warfarin and some birth control pills. Use a back-up method of contraception if you use hormonal birth control.
