Cyendiv 100mg Capsule is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used to slow the scarring of the lungs in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and other progressive fibrosing lung diseases. It is also used with docetaxel to treat a type of lung cancer called adenocarcinoma. Each soft gelatin capsule contains Nintedanib 100 mg (as Nintedanib Esylate).

Cyendiv 100mg Capsule should be swallowed whole with water, along with food, at about the same times every day, usually 12 hours apart. Do not chew, crush, or open the capsule. Your doctor will decide the dose and how long you need to take it, and may change it if side effects occur. Take it exactly as your doctor has advised. It slows the loss of lung function but does not cure the condition, so do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.

Diarrhea, nausea, and stomach pain are the most common side effects of this medicine. Your doctor will check your liver function with blood tests before and during treatment. Drink plenty of fluids if you have diarrhea and ask your doctor about anti-diarrheal treatment. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice yellowing of the skin or eyes, unusual bleeding, severe stomach pain, or chest pain.
