Azacitidine 300mg Tablet is an oral anti-cancer medicine used for continued treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in adults. It is given to patients who improved after intensive chemotherapy but are not able to complete intensive curative therapy. It is also used in myelodysplastic syndrome and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia .

Azacitidine 300mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but try to take it at the same time every day to get the most benefit. Your doctor will decide the dose and treatment schedule based on your medical condition and blood counts, and it is usually taken in cycles. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or break it. Your doctor may prescribe an anti-nausea medicine to take before each dose. This medicine can harm an unborn baby and may affect fertility, so both men and women should use effective contraception during treatment. Avoid alcohol and drink plenty of water. Do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.
