Description
Introduction Of Enfiera 100mg Injection:
Enfiera 100mg Injection contains Rituximab, a monoclonal antibody used in the treatment of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), and certain autoimmune conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.
Enfiera 100mg Injection is administered only by a trained healthcare professional as a slow intravenous infusion after dilution. It must never be given as an intravenous push or bolus. Your doctor will decide the dose and schedule based on your condition and body surface area, and it may be combined with chemotherapy or other medicines. Medicines to reduce the risk of infusion reactions are usually given before each dose. It should never be self-administered.
Infusion-related reactions such as fever, chills, and itching are among the most common effects of this medicine, especially during the first infusion. Your doctor will monitor you closely during the infusion and may advise regular blood tests during treatment. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice difficulty breathing, swelling of the face or throat, severe rash, or signs of infection. Your doctor may also check for hepatitis B before starting treatment.
Uses Of Enfiera 100mg Injection:
- Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL)
- Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL)
- Rheumatoid Arthritis
- Granulomatosis with Polyangiitis (GPA) and Microscopic Polyangiitis (MPA)
- Pemphigus Vulgaris
Benefits Of Enfiera 100mg Injection:
1. Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
NHL and CLL are cancers that affect B-cells, a type of white blood cell. Enfiera 100mg Injection works by targeting a protein called CD20 on the surface of these cells, helping destroy cancerous B-cells and control the growth and spread of the disease.
2. Rheumatoid Arthritis
In rheumatoid arthritis, overactive B-cells contribute to joint inflammation. Enfiera 100mg Injection, used with methotrexate in patients who have not responded adequately to other treatments, helps reduce inflammation and pain and slows joint damage.
3. Autoimmune Conditions
In conditions such as granulomatosis with polyangiitis, microscopic polyangiitis, and pemphigus vulgaris, Enfiera 100mg Injection helps control the overactive immune response by reducing the number of B-cells involved.
Side effects of Enfiera 100mg Injection:
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them.
Common side effects of Rituximab:
- Infusion-related reactions
- Fever
- Chills
- Nausea

- Skin rash and itching
- Throat irritation
- Low blood cell counts
- Increased risk of infections
Mechanism Of Action Of Enfiera 100mg Injection:
Enfiera Injection contains Rituximab, a monoclonal antibody that binds to the CD20 protein found on the surface of B-cells. Once bound, it triggers the immune system and other mechanisms to destroy these cells, including both cancerous B-cells and the overactive B-cells involved in autoimmune conditions. This helps control disease progression.
