Description
Introduction Of Carbotero 150mg Injection:
Carbotero 150mg Injection contains Carboplatin, a platinum-based chemotherapy medicine used mainly in the treatment of ovarian cancer and small cell lung cancer. It may also be used in other cancers such as those of the head and neck, cervix, and bladder.
Carbotero 150mg Injection is administered only by a trained healthcare professional as an intravenous infusion after dilution. It is not a daily treatment and is usually given in cycles, once every few weeks, which gives your body time to recover between doses. Your doctor will decide the dose based on your condition, kidney function, and blood counts, and it may be combined with other cancer medicines. It should never be self-administered.
Nausea, vomiting, fatigue, and low blood cell counts are among the most common effects of this medicine. Your doctor will advise regular blood tests to monitor your blood counts and kidney function during treatment. Inform your doctor if you notice fever, unusual bleeding or bruising, numbness or tingling, or signs of infection. This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy, and effective contraception is advised for both men and women during treatment.
