Mechanism of Action of Twinaqt Tablet:

Twinaqt Tablet contains Dolutegravir and Lamivudine. Dolutegravir: It is an integrase strand transfer inhibitor (INSTI) that blocks the HIV integrase enzyme, preventing the virus from inserting its genetic material into healthy immune cells. This stops HIV from multiplying and spreading within the body. Lamivudine: It is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NRTI) that blocks the reverse transcriptase enzyme, preventing HIV from making copies of its genetic material. Together with dolutegravir, it lowers the viral load, helps protect the immune system, and slows the progression of HIV infection.
