Description
Introduction Of AzatiRel 100mg Injection:
AzatiRel 100mg Injection is an anti-cancer medicine used in the treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome, chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia, and acute myeloid leukaemia.
AzatiRel 100mg Injection is administered by a doctor or nurse as a subcutaneous or intravenous injection; it should not be self-administered. Your doctor will decide the dose and treatment schedule based on your medical condition, usually given in cycles repeated every 4 weeks depending on your response and blood test results. It is an effective but potent medicine, so you should discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Avoid drinking alcohol during treatment and drink plenty of water to stay well-hydrated.
Nausea and vomiting are among the most common effects of this medicine and can sometimes be severe; your doctor may prescribe medication to help prevent or relieve these symptoms. Your doctor will monitor your blood counts regularly during treatment, as this medicine can lower your body’s ability to fight infections. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice fever, chills, a sore throat that doesn’t go away, easy bruising or bleeding, or yellowing of the skin or eyes, as these may indicate serious side effects.
Uses Of AzatiRel 100mg Injection:
- Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS)
- Chronic myelomonocytic leukaemia (CMML)

Benefits Of AzatiRel 100mg Injection:
Myelodysplastic syndrome and leukaemia
Myelodysplastic syndrome is a group of conditions in which the bone marrow produces abnormal blood cells and fails to make enough healthy ones. AzatiRel 100mg Injection works by interfering with the genetic material (DNA and RNA) of abnormal cells, killing cancerous cells while helping the bone marrow produce and mature healthy new blood cells. It is also used in acute myeloid leukaemia, particularly in patients who are in remission but cannot undergo intensive chemotherapy, helping control the disease and improve blood cell counts.
Side effects of AzatiRel 100mg Injection:
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them.
Common side effects of AzatiRel:

Mechanism Of Action Of AzatiRel 100mg Injection:
AzatiRel Injection contains Azacitidine, an anti-cancer medication belonging to the class of anti-metabolites. It works by interfering with the growth of genetic material (DNA and RNA) inside cancer cells, which kills these abnormal cells while helping restore the normal maturation and growth of healthy young blood cells in the bone marrow.
